2006 has been an amazing year for me. Things have gone from strength to strength, from finishing Uni, Atariboy getting micro-famous, setting up my own design company, switching to Mac, getting hired by a web 2.0 startup and moving to London.

TV and caffeine have killed my memory but it feels like I’ve had one of the best years of my life so far and I’m aiming for 2007 to be even better.

So starts another year and with it comes New Years Resolutions.

Last year I made some resolutions, I even made some in July as well, my mini targets really help my target where I’m going. I’ve been looking forward to writing some new ones for this brand new year…

Here goes:

  • Focus - I’ve been a little all over the place this year, often spreading myself a little thin at times. I need to finish one thing before I start on the next.
  • Detail - Going hand in hand with Focus, this year I’m going to make sure I don’t forget the little things. The devils in the details, I better not overlook them this year.
  • Independence - Despite moving to London and getting a proper job I’m still living with my grandpa, he doesn’t mind but I’d really like to be completely independent and self sufficient. That means getting my own flat within the next few months.
  • Photography - I think my photography improved a lot over the past year and with a brand new Nikon D40 coming at the end of January I want to learn a lot more this year.

If I can keep to those first two then I’m sure 2007 will be great, I’m going to aim high and work hard to get exactly where I want to be and make a bit of a name for myself while I’m at it :P
