Google Analytics - Google have set up their own webpage hits and stats service, its free but there is quite a que at the moment, once i get an invite i’ll do a mini review of it.
Loftcube - I could so easily live in one of these, if i ever get the chance to rent a roof top!
I’ve also added zhooibaal’s blog to my blog roll, its a very good read, some cool things about Classic games and a rather interesting post about the current browser wars.

3 day weekend
I start yet another 3 day weekend today, but this time i plan to actually do something productive, some programming and some blogging.
I haven’t really posted much the past few days, i’ve been crazily unmotivated, findng it hard to do anything much at all, but i’ve woke up feeling better, I’ll get some caffine in me and i’ll be off like a rocket!!
I put a music CD that i was lent in my dvd-rw drive yesterday night, and it didnt come up in iTunes, which was weird, so i looked at “my computer” and both drives were missing, only the virtual drive was there.So i when to open the drive to see if i put the cd in it, and it wouldnt open, neither would the other one. Very strange.
One restart later and the other DVD-rom drive is working, but i still cant get the other one working.
Just got my room tidy too so i’m going to leave it a while and see if it sorts it self out… I think i may have be affected my the dreaded Root kit!

Times up!
Its the 16th minute and my fame is gone, i’ve fallen off the front page pretty much, yesterday i got 2000 hits and so far today 500, but i always knew that it wouldnt survive at the top. Till next time i post something useful i guess.

I finished the design to be engraved on my dads pint glass for his birthday:
Its going to cost £30 including the glass, but i think it should look great

I started on a new project yesterday, but after getting a littleway into in i relaised that i will need to put quite a bit of effort into it and that i should really be concentrating on my final year project, so over the weekend its going to be full steam ahead to try and catch up and get my motivation back a bit, i couldnt force myself to go into my only lecture today because its soo damn boring and the notes will be on the portal tomorrow, i’m really not in the mood for getting more bored than i am.
I also regained my Day of Defeat skill i thought i had lost, it seems to come and go and can sometimes drive me insane that i just cant kill anyone.
I’m enjoying Rise againsts music at the moment, especially the older albums.

More digg effect
Chrono Cr@cker has posted a good article about the digg effect on his blog, i think slightly influenced by my blogs recent rise in hits, and he has submitted it to digg.com as well, so if you like ti dont forget to give him a digg.
My mum wsa pretty impressed with the amount of hits i got too when i told her this morning
Chatting with gary about yesterday has got me thinking, i’ve got an idea in my head for a small program that might have quite an opening, i’ll have to research it a bit more, but it could be a success if i go about it the right way.
